Within a span of few years, AL-HAMZA TRADING COMPANY (PVT) LTD, went from an unknown player in the Rice Export market, to emerge as one of the TOP TEN exporter of Rice. This was made possible with the help of years of experience of its management, dedication and hard work.It helped the company to not only earn such reputation in a short period of tme, but it also proved that it can be a long term partner to all its valued clients.
To meet the ever increasing export demand of its valued clients, Al-Hamza Trading Company has undertaken a project to increase its storage facility of raw and milled rice from 35,000 Square feet to 95,000 square feet. The new and improved storage facility has another key feature of being in very close proximity of the Port, thus making scheduled shipments smooth and effective.
Milling and Processing
ATCO RICE Division is the trading division of the group involved in processing and re-processing of Export quality rice. The Rice Processing Plant, located in Sind Industrial Trading Estate ( S. I. T. E. ) Karachi; measuring 35,000 sq-ft is equipped with the latest machinery capable of cleaning, de-stoning, paddy removal, grading, polishing and sorting. Initially, only Non-Basmati rice was processed and this rice processing plant having a capacity of 44,000 metric tons per annum (approximately 96 million pounds per annum).
Due to ever increasing demand for its quality rice, the production capacity of the plant was doubled in the year 2002 to achieve economies of scale and remain competitive. Currently, the plant can process 88,000 metric tons of rice annually. The expansion was carried out by setting up yet another state-of-the-art rice reprocessing plant along with Magic Sorter RMGS 840 by Satake Japan of 12 metric tons per hour capacity. This latest addition of most modern and highly accurate and precise machinery has assured our valued clients that they can depend on us for the best in quality and consistency.
Owing to quality supplies and on-time delivery, ATCO continues to export rice to over 14 countries worldwide with more destinations adding every year. The company enjoys repeat orders from all of its valued clients which has resulted in an impressive increase in exports year after year.

Our export market covers all major continents of the world and more specifically the following countries:-
USA, Canada, Australia, Poland, Iran, Yemen, UAE, Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Muscat, Kenya, Uganda, UK, Bangladesh and Estonia.
Quality Control
On March 19, 2001, Al-Hamza Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd was granted ISO 9000 certification. This is yet another proof of quality commitment which is an inherent part of corporate culture in Al-Hamza Group of Companies.
Processing of rice is carried out by consistently following the quality procedures starting from procurement all the way till shipment of quality products. Our stringent quality standards have guaranteed our clients that only quality product will be shipped, thus providing them with peace of mind.
